Rental terms

Summary of the main terms. The rental agreement provided at confirmation prevails.

1. Booking

Any request made on the site is a booking request, not a firm booking. It becomes final once Élysium Drive has confirmed it in writing and the customer has accepted the offer and made the required payment.

2. Driver

The driver must meet the minimum age and licence seniority shown on the vehicle page, and present a valid licence, ID and a credit card in their name. Any additional driver must be declared.

3. Prices and payment

Prices include VAT and are per 24-hour period. Discounts apply from 3, 7 and 28 days. Payment is due when the booking is confirmed.

4. Security deposit

A deposit, shown on the vehicle page, is pre-authorised on the main driver’s credit card at handover and released on return, subject to the condition report.

5. Insurance

The rental includes third-party liability insurance plus collision and theft cover, with an excess equal to the deposit. The Serenity option reduces this excess. Cover excludes in particular: driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, driving by a person not named on the agreement, track or competition use, subletting, carrying paying passengers and damage caused by gross negligence.

6. Mileage and fuel

Included mileage and the extra-kilometre rate are shown on each vehicle page. The car is supplied full and must be returned at the same level.

7. Cancellation and changes

Free cancellation up to 72 hours before the rental starts; 30% retained between 72 and 24 hours; 50% within 24 hours. If a flight is delayed or cancelled, the rental is rescheduled free of charge.

8. Delivery and return

Delivery and return take place at the agreed address and time. A joint, photographed condition report is completed at each stage.

9. Driving abroad

Permitted within the EU, Switzerland, Monaco and the UK with prior notice, unless restricted for certain prestige cars.
