Privacy policy

Élysium Drive takes the protection of your personal data seriously. This policy describes the processing carried out through this site, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the French Data Protection Act.

Data collected

  • Booking and quote requests: first and last name, email, phone, country of residence, rental dates and locations, requested car and options, flight number, comments.
  • Contact form: name, email, phone, message.
  • Audience measurement (only with your consent): pages viewed, visit source, anonymised technical data.
  • Acquisition source: campaign parameters (utm) and landing page, stored locally in your browser and sent with your request.

Purposes and legal bases

  • Processing your request and preparing your rental — pre-contractual measures (Art. 6.1.b GDPR).
  • Commercial follow-up of your request — legitimate interest (Art. 6.1.f).
  • Sending offers and itineraries — consent (Art. 6.1.a), which you may withdraw at any time.
  • Audience measurement — consent (Art. 6.1.a).

Recipients

Your data is intended solely for Élysium Drive’s teams and its technical processors: website hosting (Netlify, USA), email delivery of requests (EmailJS) and form archiving (Netlify Forms), audience measurement (Google Analytics, only with your consent). Some illustrative photos are served from Unsplash and Pexels servers, which receive the visitor’s IP address when displaying them. Where data is transferred outside the European Union, the transfer is governed by the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.

Retention periods

  • Requests that did not lead to a rental: 3 years from last contact.
  • Customer data: duration of the contractual relationship, then archived as required by law (10 years for accounting records).
  • Audience measurement cookies: 13 months maximum.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object to and port your data, and to set instructions regarding your data after death. To exercise them: elysium_drive@proton.me. You may lodge a complaint with the CNIL (www.cnil.fr).

Cookies

No audience measurement cookie is set without your consent. You can change your choice at any time via the “Manage cookies” link in the footer. Strictly necessary storage (remembering your choice) does not require consent.
